How can we make life a little bit easier?
–
Some say adulting is hard. Some say it is harder when you are single.
–
Leah, Diana, and I were having a conversation about cooking and cleaning up the kitchen. They shared how their husbands help. I shared that I had to do both. This got me to thinking “how can I get help?”
–
In addition, to this chat, I read Laura Vanderkam’s book “168 Hours: You Have More Time Than You Think”. She talks about using time better to enjoy time better. One of her recommendations is outsourcing tasks you don’t like or want to do.
–
The concept is talked about alot, however, it isn’t executed to it fullest. Let’s think about all the things that could be outsourced.
–
Currently, my neighbor cuts my lawn ($25 every two weeks) and I try to use grocery pick-up services (free at Kroger). I would love to add house cleaning and meal prep.
–
The meal prepper would be a game changer. I once told a friend she could be my roommate if she prepared all the meals and paid the utilities.
–
Here are a few other services that can be outsourced or they can come to you.
– Meal prepping – Clean Eatz
– Laundry – Washed Life Before Laundry
– Auto mechanic/oil change – JB Mobile Mechanic Services, LLC
– Car detailer – Simply Suds Mobile Detailing, LLC
– Dog Groomer – Blue Dog Mobile Pet Grooming
– Grocery pick-up or delivery
– Mobile barber/stylist
– House cleaning
– Grass cutting
What other service can we add to the list?
